Gas stations in the Philippines are somewhat different from those in Korea.

Fueling System
In Korea, self-service stations are common, but in the Philippines, most gas stations still use the full-service system, where attendants pump the fuel for you. You just tell them the amount or liters you want.
Payment Methods
Cash is still widely used, although credit and debit cards are accepted at many stations. However, smaller stations may only accept cash.
Extra Services
Attendants often provide windshield cleaning or even basic checks like tire pressure while refueling.
Brands
Instead of Korean brands like SK, GS, or Hyundai Oilbank, you’ll find Petron, Shell, Caltex, Uni Oil, and Phoenix commonly across the country.
Pricing
Fuel is sold by the liter, and prices can vary slightly depending on the location of the station. Unlike Korea, where fuel taxes keep prices more standardized, there’s a bit more fluctuation in the Philippines.
